Bendigo HAS the most developed beer scene in regional Australia.

But it wasn't always thus.

Back in 2011, two beer lovers hatched a plan: they were going to help drive change in the city and encourage venues to start stocking better beer. They were Justin McPhail and Trev Birks, and the vehicle for driving change was Bendigo Beer.

Fast forward 12 years and Trev is still one of the main drivers, along with a passionate group headed by new Chair Chris Adkins and supported by our Committee.

We work with local community and hospitality groups to promote a responsible drinking culture with Australian independent beer as the hero. 

Live music, good wine, cheeses, food… you’ll find Bendigo Beer is often right in the thick of it!
